Keisha Nash Whitaker, an accomplished actor and producer, has passed away at the age of 51. The news was shared by her daughter, True Whitaker, through an emotional post on Instagram. Keisha was well-known for her role in the 2004 film “Proud” and as the host of the TLC reality competition show, “Who Are You Wearing?” She was also a former model from Lynn, Massachusetts.

Keisha’s marriage to Forest Whitaker, an Oscar-winning actor, lasted for 22 years, ending in 2018 when Forest filed for divorce. The couple met on the set of the 1994 film “Blown Away” and had two children together, True and Sonnet Whitaker. Keisha also had a daughter, Autumn, from a previous relationship. Her last known public appearance was at the premiere of “Amy” at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California, in 2015.
