Paulie Paret, born on March 27, 1969, in New Orleans, faced a tumultuous life. After studying criminal justice at Valdosta State University, she moved to New York City and later to Los Angeles for a career in the entertainment industry.
Married to actor Coyote Shivers in 2000, they divorced in 2006, with Paret alleging physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. She worked in various roles in television and film, including a notable stint as Abby Sciuto, a forensic scientist in “NCIS.”
Aside from acting, Paret is a poet, author, photographer, and civil rights advocate. She also ventured into music, recording the song “Fear” for the “NCIS” soundtrack. Paret’s diverse interests extend to being the lead singer of the all-female band Low Ball.
