Daniela Ruah, better known as Kensi Blye from NCIS: Los Angeles, opens up about her early career fears and the pressures of being a newcomer on set. Starting in Portuguese television, Ruah faced the challenges of the industry before landing her role on NCIS LA in 2009. She shared on The Wayne Ayers Podcast that her early days were marked by a willingness to say yes to everything to avoid being difficult or facing dismissal. Ruah emphasized the importance of setting boundaries, particularly regarding long working hours, to maintain professional and personal well-being.
Despite the show’s end after 14 successful seasons, Ruah continues to expand her career. She has transitioned to Netflix, appearing in the Portuguese series Turn of the Tide, and is set to feature in the upcoming film Luso, which is currently in post-production.
