NCIS, originally a JAG spinoff, has become the third longest-running primetime drama in TV history. It was renewed for season 21 by CBS in February 2023, but due to a writers’ strike, filming hasn’t started yet. The cast supports the strike, impacting the production schedule.
The season 20 finale featured a cliffhanger with the team thwarting a Russian terrorist attack, and Torres confronting a mysterious man.
The cast for season 21 is uncertain due to the strike. Sadly, David McCallum, who played Dr. “Ducky” Mallard, passed away in September.
