NCIS has had its share of episodes that fans didn’t love. One example is “Roadkill” from Season 6, where a secret Fight Club plot felt cliched. In Season 7, “Obsession” didn’t fit well with the excellent season, with Tony’s unusual behavior standing out. “Thirst” from Season 9 featured an unrealistic water intoxication plot and a serial killer date.
“Tribes” in Season 5 drew criticism for its portrayal of the Muslim community. “Brothers in Arms” from Season 4 left fans frustrated with its rushed storyline and an unsatisfying resolution. “Cracked” featured Abby’s character acting out of character and focusing on codes instead of the case. These episodes didn’t resonate with fans, who expected more from NCIS.
